VENICE GLASS WEEK 2018
Alcova
Giorgio Mastinu Fine Art Gallery will be displaying select pieces of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec’s Alcova collection during Venice Glass Week to complement their exhibition titled Some Drawings by Ronan Bouroullec.
Alcova consists of cast glass elements in a variety of colours (crystal, light amber, green, and amber) produced in simple forms. These forms are arranged as a set, making the transparency and brightness of the various coloured elements interact. Small, modular cylindrical elements fit within the larger pieces to complete the work to create installations with endless possibilities and infinite beauty.
