by PAUL COCKSEDGE
Wonder celebrates the alchemy of glass- making, using light, cast glass and colour. The triptych installation features transparent glass droplets that have been scooped out and poured from the furnace. This creates compelling, organic, freeform shapes. Once suspended, these glass forms become alive with a cacophony of colour, cross-fading from shade to shade. The artwork is designed to provoke a meditative state, encouraging people to worry less about the how and why, and simply enjoy the flow.
