The idea of memories being stored in each piece of glass and connected to one another in a special manner is shown by this circular sculpture, which is made up of millions of photographs. The circular form, which can extend eternally, reflects how the mind is structured and how we conceptualize the “infinite” in a finite entity.

GWENAEL NICOLAS – CURIOSITY
Gwenael Nicolas was born in France and has lived and worked in Japan for over 20 years. In 1998 he co-founded the design studio Curiosity which is involved in product design, interior and architecture. Curiosity has since worked on projects for brands such as Issey Miyake, Fendi, Versace, Louis Vuitton, and Dolce & Gabbana. His work has earned Nicolas several awards, including being honoured with the Ku/Kan prize, Japan’s most prestigious prize for interior design.
