Flanagan Lawrence’s interior design team was appointed in 2011 by Land Sec as Interior Designer and Interior Architect for the Nova building – a prime residential development in Central London.
The building has a unique structure, where undulations of the external ripple across the façades produce an effect of persistent oscillation as one crosses the site. At street level the facade has been selectively pulled back to reveal storefronts and covered arcades.
The interior design concepts are contemporary and complement the buildings’ exterior expression through careful use of materials, finishes, and bespoke detailing which create a sequence of domestic interiors that are further enhanced by space and light.
For London’s Nova Building in Westminster, WonderGlass enlightened the reception lobby area by developing a bespoke composition of Flow[T] by Nao Tamura featuring a mirror finish canopy. Displayed as a monumental ceiling installation, the chandelier conveys a feeling of freshness and colour, perfectly complementing with the warm tones of the building.
